Dad's Advice

So I decided to keep my blog. I think it will be a good place to keep showing my comicstrips, and the Bidet page I created will be their permanent home. I have plenty more strips coming along. It just takes me a long time to draw sometimes!

Also! If anyone who reads this is a Yelper, add me! I am trying to build up my profile and become a Yelp Elite. I hear they get perks! It makes sense for me to write on Yelp now, since it seems like I talk mostly about food these days. Might as well channel that energy into Yelp.

I am back from Russia! Da! Nyet! Spla Si Boh! There is so much to tell. In a nut shell, I was there for the 2008 Krok International Animation Festival for my film "Kiwi!" It was a fantastic experience, and I was able to meet some amazing people and see some really great animated films. Silly thing is, is that a lot of these films might not be seen stateside, since most American film festivals tend to charge money to enter, and many of the animators I met don't want to spend the money. I don't blame them. It can get really expensive. That is why I felt fortunate to be on this ship and experience the festival.

So much more was going on, but I feel like I would need to write for so long, and this seems such a daunting task, that I will attempt to convey what the trip was like, with a list.
